The purpose of these summaries is to alert researchers to the families residing in or originating in Ontario, Canada and where to find genealogical information. Where genealogies have been published, these are indicated. In other cases, I have additional information-sometimes a great deal and other times very little. Where I have very little, I usually indicate this. If anyone is working on families which tie into any of these, I shall be very happy to know about it and to exchange information. Where I know other people have more information on a particular family than I do, I give them as a reference.
